The transfer of administration of the Colorado Springs New Hire Fire & Police Pension Plans to FPPA has been completed. Colorado Springs Police Officers and Firefighters hired prior to October 1, 2006 remain in their individual plans while any Police Officers and Firefighters hired on or after October 1, 2006 will now be covered under The Statewide Defined Benefit Plan also administered by FPPA.
