Old Hire Plans
FPPA provides administrative support to affiliated local pension plans for first responders hired before April 8, 1978. These so-called Old Hire plans work with FPPA on actuarial, investments, and benefit payment operations.

Actuarial Study Timeline for Old Hire Employers
- Even-numbered years: 2024, 2026, 2028 etc.
- Packets are mailed in January
- Packet information must be received by March 1
- Actuarial Study will be completed in July
