In 2004 the responsibility for the administration of the Volunteer Firefighter Pension State Contributions and the statewide volunteer firefighter accidental death and disability insurance policy (CRS 31-30-1101 et seq.) was transferred by SB 04-198 from the Fire & Police Pension Association (FPPA) to the Department of Local Affairs (DOLA).
